  • transitioning from our Learn to Row (LTR) or another club’s LTR,

  • graduating junior members who are transitioning to the adult program,

  • an experienced rower searching for a club

DDRC offers Recreational rowing for those athletes who are not currently interested in competing at regattas but would like to be coached on technical skills and row in a more relaxed atmosphere. The Club’s Competitive program is for those adult rowers who would like to take the next step into competition at regattas and is designed to prepare athletes to reach their goals in rowing and racing. Adult Competitive rowers compete regularly at a variety of regattas from February through October each year. Most competitive adult rowers compete in Masters Events which start at age 21. We encourage open rowing for our younger adults aged 19 and 20.
